Terms of Use

Effective 21 September 2026

In short: Cadance is a personal tool, not a public service. Its videos are educational, made with AI assistance, and offered as-is — check anything important against the cited sources. Using Cadance with YouTube means also accepting YouTube's terms.

1. About Cadance

Cadance is a studio tool that produces short educational videos about software development and publishes them to the YouTube channel and Instagram account of the person who runs it (the "operator"). It runs on the operator's own computer. It is not offered to the public, and no one other than the operator can sign in to it.

These terms apply to the operator's use of Cadance, and to anyone who visits this website or watches the videos Cadance publishes.

2. YouTube and Instagram

Cadance uses YouTube API Services. By using Cadance to connect to or publish on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Publishing to Instagram is subject to the Instagram Terms of Use and the Meta Platform Terms.

The operator is responsible for the connected accounts and for everything published to them, including compliance with each platform's community guidelines, advertising rules and disclosure requirements.

3. The videos

4. Ownership and third-party marks

The videos, scripts and this website are © Cadance. You may share and embed the videos using the sharing features of YouTube and Instagram. Please do not re-upload them or present them as your own.

Product names, logos and service icons that appear in the videos — for example those of cloud providers, databases and developer tools — belong to their respective owners. They are shown only to identify the technology being explained. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, those owners. Open-source icons are used under their respective licences.

If you believe a video infringes your rights, write to the address above with the video link and the details, and it will be reviewed promptly.

5. Acceptable use

Cadance may be used only to publish lawful, original, educational content to accounts the operator owns or is authorised to manage. It must not be used to publish spam, misleading or deceptive material, or content that infringes someone else's rights, nor to get around the limits or policies of YouTube, Instagram or any other service it connects to.

6. No warranty

Cadance, this website and the videos are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cadance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from the use of Cadance, this website or the videos. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what Cadance accesses and how to withdraw access. The Data deletion page explains how to have stored information removed.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.

10. Changes

These terms may be updated as Cadance changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
