Privacy Policy
In short: Cadance runs on its operator's own computer and connects only to the operator's own YouTube and Instagram accounts. It keeps a sign-in token and the IDs of the videos it publishes — locally, on that computer. There is no Cadance server. Nothing is sold, shared, used for advertising, or used to train AI.
1. Who this policy covers
"Cadance" is a personal studio tool that produces short educational videos and publishes them to the accounts of the person who runs it (the "operator"). This policy covers:
- the operator, who connects a Google / YouTube account and an Instagram account to Cadance; and
- visitors to this website.
Cadance is not offered to the public. No one other than the operator can sign in to it. People who watch the published videos on YouTube or Instagram do not interact with Cadance at all; their data is handled by those platforms under their own policies.
2. Information Cadance accesses
Cadance requests the narrowest permissions that let it publish a video.

Cadance does not access viewers' personal information, comments, direct messages, subscriber or follower lists, watch history, contacts, or any other Google service such as Gmail, Drive or Calendar.
3. How that information is used
Only to provide the features the operator sees on screen:
- show which account is connected;
- upload a finished video when the operator clicks Publish, and add it to the matching playlist;
- show upload progress, and afterwards a link to the published video;
- avoid publishing the same lesson twice.
It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to publishing the operator's own videos.
4. Where it is stored
On the operator's computer only: tokens in a file encrypted by the operating system under the operator's own Windows account, so it cannot be read by another user or on another machine, and video and playlist identifiers in a local database file. Cadance has no backend server and no cloud database, so this information is never sent to, or held by, Cadance as an organisation. It travels only between the operator's computer and Google or Meta, over HTTPS.
5. Sharing
None. Information received from Google or Instagram is not sold, rented, transferred or disclosed to any third party. The one exception is a disclosure required by law.
The videos, titles and descriptions that Cadance sends to YouTube and Instagram are the operator's own content, published at the operator's instruction.
6. AI services
Cadance uses AI services to research topics, draft scripts and generate narration. Those services receive the lesson topic and script text — never information obtained from Google, YouTube or Instagram accounts. Cadance does not use Google user data or Instagram account data to develop, improve or train any AI or machine-learning model.
7. Google API Services and YouTube API Services
Cadance's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cadance uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel, the operator also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the data Google handles is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Retention, revoking access and deletion
Tokens and identifiers are kept for as long as the account stays connected. Access can be withdrawn at any time:
- In Cadance: Settings → Connections → Disconnect. The token and the stored identifiers for that account are deleted immediately.
- At Google: remove Cadance on the Google Account permissions page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
- At Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → remove Cadance.
After access is revoked at Google or Instagram, the stored token stops working at once, and any remaining stored information from that account is deleted within 30 days. Step-by-step instructions are on the Data deletion page.
Videos already published stay on YouTube and Instagram until they are deleted there; removing Cadance's access does not remove them.
9. This website
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, contains no forms, and loads nothing from third parties. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider — Cloudflare — which processes visitors' IP addresses and request logs in order to serve and protect the site, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Cadance does not receive or keep those logs.
10. Children
Cadance is a production tool for an adult operator. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask what information Cadance holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or raise a concern, by writing to mkbusiness3019@gmail.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. You also keep every right given to you by the data-protection law that applies where you live.
12. Changes to this policy
If Cadance starts accessing anything not described here, this page will be updated — and the operator will be asked for consent again — before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
