Data deletion

Effective 21 September 2026

In short: Cadance stores a sign-in token and the IDs of the videos it published, on the operator's own computer and nowhere else. Disconnecting the account deletes them. You can do it yourself in under a minute, or ask by email.

What Cadance holds

Account	Stored on the operator's computer
Google / YouTube	OAuth access and refresh tokens; channel ID and title; IDs and titles of playlists Cadance uses; ID, URL and status of each video it uploaded.
Instagram	Access token; account ID and username; ID, permalink and status of each Reel it published.

Cadance has no server and no cloud database, so there is no other copy to delete.

Option 1 — Disconnect inside Cadance

Open Cadance and go to Settings → Connections.
Click Disconnect next to YouTube or Instagram.

The token and every stored identifier for that account are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Remove access at Google

Open the Google Account permissions page.
Select Cadance, then Delete all connections (or Remove access).

The token stops working at once. Information Cadance still holds from that account is deleted the next time Cadance runs, and in any case within 30 days.

Option 3 — Remove access at Instagram

In Instagram, open Settings → Apps and websites (on some versions: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites).
Under Active, find Cadance and choose Remove.

The token stops working at once. Information Cadance still holds from that account is deleted the next time Cadance runs, and in any case within 30 days.

Option 4 — Ask by email

Write to mkbusiness3019@gmail.com with the subject "Cadance data deletion request", from the address linked to the account, and say which account it concerns. You will get a confirmation once the information is deleted, within 30 days.

Published videos

Removing Cadance's access does not remove videos that were already published. Those live in the YouTube channel and the Instagram account, and are deleted there — in YouTube Studio or in the Instagram app.
